Started with an HR Call, then went into two technical rounds. First technical was mainly SQL - basics, window functions, optimizing queries, and different ways to answer questions. Second technical round was similar, but also included Excel/G-Sheet questions like Vlookup, Xlookup, their limits, pivot tables, sumifs, and some basic Python. This was followed by an in-office culture fit round. After making multiple follow-ups with no response, I was ghosted. I was later told they were interviewing other candidates. It's strange to ask someone to come in for a cultural round if they weren't going to be considered. Luckily, I had other offers and accepted one. It's clear Noon's team isn't reliable even for hiring.

The process had 5 rounds and was quite fast. I initially filled out a Google Form I found on LinkedIn. Within a week, I received an email asking for my availability on a Thursday or Friday for a 4-hour window, where 3 back-to-back interviews were scheduled. Some interviews were relaxed, covering puzzles and basic SQL, while others were intense, with rapid-fire questions on ML breadth and depth. The following week, I was informed about my next 2 interviews with senior team members, focusing on ML fundamentals and basic ML system design. The final round was with the Hiring Manager, which felt relaxed and was focused on 'vibes' and SQL, and I felt it went well. About a week later, I got word they were processing an offer letter, which was great considering the short timeframe.

The first interviewer was late, but that was okay. I answered all the SQL questions and the interviewer agreed with my solutions. Then, they asked me to guesstimate the number of Netflix users. Even though I answered everything correctly, I wasn't selected, and HR sent an automated email without any feedback. It felt like a waste of time, especially since the interviewer had less experience than me.

This was just the initial screening interview. They were understanding about me having just finished my military service and asked about its extent. They enjoyed hearing about my experiences during and after college as a new grad. The interview was mostly in English, which was manageable. They inquired about my salary expectations, which felt a little unusual for a fresh grad but I understood their reasoning. This was only the first interview; I'll keep you posted.
