The first interviewer was late, but that was okay. I answered all the SQL questions and the interviewer agreed with my solutions. Then, they asked me to guesstimate the number of Netflix users. Even though I answered everything correctly, I wasn't selected, and HR sent an automated email without any feedback. It felt like a waste of time, especially since the interviewer had less experience than me.

This was a very professional interview. The questions asked were good and the interview started on time. A lot of candidates you meet may not be the right fit and you need to be able to deliver clear, constructive feedback in a meaningful way to them. Communicate this over a phone call rather than email and be specific with both your compliments and your critiques.

The initial part of the interview process was good. I got shortlisted from LinkedIn and they scheduled an interview pretty quickly, within the week. But after that, the communication was not great. They didn't tell me the result and then I was told there was suddenly a hiring freeze. I'm not really sure what to make of the company.
