Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at noon.
Manager
Had about 4 to 5 interviews, all of them were virtual and conversational. Everyone was really friendly and professional. It started with the recruitment team, then went on to meet with several managers and VPs. After that, I got an offer, but it took some time for them to finalize everything on their end.
- What is your understanding of noon?
- Can you describe the current e-commerce landscape?
Manager
The interview process involved two technical interviews, followed by an interview with HR, and concluded with a meeting with the CTO or a higher-level executive. The technical interviews focused on React and Next.js, and later discussions covered team management and handling workplace culture.
- Can you explain the inner workings of the React DOM, including its differences and the reasons behind them?
Assistant Manager
I saw reviews for Noon Managerial posts and experienced something similar. I interviewed for Assistant Manager - Logistics. Most interviewers, including HR, were unprofessional and lethargic, except for one in the first round. The VP in the last round was particularly rude. Post-interview, HR offered me a "Sr. Business Analyst" role instead, with a salary increase of only +1 LPA from my current salary, which was less than my original ask. I agreed to negotiate, but it's been over two weeks with no response to calls or emails. Ghosting candidates at this stage is highly unprofessional.
- Can you list some SQL Queries?
- Could you explain the Excel Cumulative Sum question?
- Describe the lifecycle of the Delivery process.
