I went through 4 interviews with different departments. It felt like they all asked the same things, so you'd have to be ready to answer the same questions multiple times. Even though I applied for position A, it seemed like I talked to every department possible.

The interview process for this role was quite long but I enjoyed it. There were 4 rounds in total: one phone call and three in-person interviews. The in-person interviews were with both middle and upper management. The process was straightforward and clear, with no problems or concerns. I felt at ease throughout, and there was no pressure to act a certain way. It seemed like they were more focused on understanding my character, as my qualifications were already evident from my resume. It was a lengthy process, but overall a positive experience.

Behavioral Presentation Other

I had a virtual interview which went well. After that, I was invited to visit a corporate office. The hiring manager was late, so they gave me a tour and talked about employee perks. Then, I met with a Talent Acquisition Specialist and we had a good chat about the job and the team. I felt really motivated afterward. However, I noticed some red flags like high turnover on that team and in other departments. Also, people didn't want to work in the office because it was required, unlike other places offering hybrid work. They had so many open positions and were constantly presenting to upper management about their hiring efforts. I asked about next steps, and the hiring manager said I'd hear back by the end of that day or the next at the latest. Then, I was ghosted. It felt unprofessional, especially coming from a recruiting team. The hiring manager even stressed how important it is to follow up with candidates. I never heard back, despite emailing twice. Even a rejection or apology would have been fine.

Behavioral Other

The recruiter was incredibly rude and started by asking if I knew about Newegg. After I answered and briefly explained my understanding, she cut me off, saying she didn't ask for a definition, just if I knew. She then insisted the role was a good fit despite my doubts about career alignment. Next, she pushed for a 10-hour assignment. When I asked for my resume to be reviewed by the hiring manager before committing to such a long task, she ghosted me.
