Presentation Technical

The interview process included a presentation followed by technical questions. I had 5 interviews back to back, which was a bit intense without breaks, but overall it was a good experience with a good team and good questions. I would recommend interviewing here.

I talked to the recruiter at Masimo first, and I passed that initial phone screen. They said there would be about 3 virtual interviews and then a 4th one in person. I did the first virtual interview, but then they didn't move me forward. I met the supervisor for the job, and I really got the impression they'd be a great boss.

Behavioral Coding

I applied via LinkedIn. First, a recruiter called me and then scheduled a technical interview with the hiring manager. During this interview, we mostly talked about my background, and then at the very end, I was asked to do some coding. The coding question was pretty easy if you understand runtime and basic data structures. This whole process confirmed what I feared from reading employee reviews about the company requiring employees to be fully onsite and expecting weekend work, not just for emergencies, plus potential management issues.

The interview process started with a 30-minute phone screening with recruiting, followed by about an hour-long team interview with the Senior Director of process engineering and the Director of process engineering - Automation. Then, there was a roughly 4-hour on-site interview which included lunch. An offer was presented at the end of the interview day. Communication with the recruiting team was outstanding. The whole process was efficient and fast, and it seems management moves quickly if they find a good fit, as the entire process from interview to offer was completed in about 2 weeks.

  • Can you walk us through your past projects and experience?
  • We'll ask you some questions on the spot about the projects you present.
