It was a phone interview. The interviewer was very blunt, skipping any pleasantries or introductions, which I found a bit rude and abrupt, though some might prefer that style. This approach deterred me from continuing with the company.

So, I had three interview rounds. First up was a quick call with a recruiter to chat about my background and any projects I've worked on. Then, I had a more in-depth technical interview with the hiring manager, which lasted about an hour and covered my projects in detail. The final stage was a half-day panel interview with eight team members. It kicked off with me presenting a PowerPoint showcasing my most relevant projects, followed by a deep dive into technical topics like machine learning, math, signal processing, and algorithm development. It was tough but definitely engaging!

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Started with a quick recruiter call to chat about my background and interest in the role and working conditions. Then, a 45-minute phone interview with a senior engineer where we talked about my project experience. The final round was a group interview that included a project presentation followed by five one-on-one chats covering project details, signal processing, deep learning, and modeling. Everyone was super nice and helpful, and I got a much clearer picture of the work environment and projects.
