Inside Sales Representative
The interview process consisted of one phone screening and three additional interviews. Phil, the recruiter, was really friendly and explained every part of the process. He was available to answer any questions I had, and was super happy when I got the job! The interviews were direct and simple, asking basic questions like 'tell me about yourself' and 'why do you want to work for this company.' There were no tricky 'sell me this pen' type of questions. The last interviewer was challenging and seemed hesitant to hire me, but I managed to resolve any concerns he had and successfully closed the interview like I would a sales deal.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What motivates your interest in working for Masimo?
- Which of your skills are most relevant to this position?
Sales
This was a really long interview process with way too many rounds. I felt like the interviewers weren't really on the same page about the skills they were looking for. The management styles seemed really different between the people in charge, and there wasn't much unity shown.
- A lot of behavioural questions were asked, nothing too out of the ordinary.
Account Sales Representative
First meeting with the Area Sales Manager. Then a phone interview with the HR Director. Finally, the last interview was with the Area Vice President. The face-to-face part was a casual brunch to get to know each other. The phone interview was more of the same. The final interview was more traditional.
- Can you describe the products we offer and their functions?
