It was a standard online interview, a one-on-one chat. They started by asking me to introduce myself and then inquired about my motivation for staying in the UK and my expectations for the company. I also had the opportunity to ask the interviewer some questions. No competency-based questions were asked.

The interview process felt just right for me and had an average difficulty level. They mostly asked questions about data and DBMS, which were all basic concepts. Everything on my projects and resume, and all those details, really counted a lot.

First, I will introduce myself for about 5 minutes, talking about my background, education, experiences, and why I'm into this Sales Internship. Then, I need to mention my graduation date and any key academic achievements. I'll also need to state my visa type and how long it's good for. After that, I'll talk about what I think the Sales Internship role involves, the skills needed, and how I fit the bill. Finally, the HR person will give me feedback, tell me what's next, and I can ask any questions.

I don't have a good impression of this company. The interviewer wasn't honest about the working environment. Online, I've seen complaints from past staff about overtime without extra pay, and managers texting on weekends. They seem to take advantage of graduates needing a UK work visa. The manager mentioned it would be hard work but couldn't give specific examples.

  • Are you looking for challenging work?
