LeanIX Interview Questions
& Process

The interview process had 4 steps. First was an interview with the hiring manager, followed by an interview with the engineering manager. Then there was a live coding interview and a systems design interview. Everything seemed to go well, I solved the coding problem with a good explanation and execution, and the systems design part also went fine. However, I ended up getting an automated rejection email. I asked the hiring manager for feedback on why I was rejected since I thought all interviews went well, but I never heard back. It's frustrating to be kept in suspense when the interviews went excellently. They should have communicated the outcome clearly, whether positive or negative, rather than leaving me hanging.

So the interview process had two main parts: first, there was an online test, the Insight Predictive Assessment, which was about logic and stuff. Then, I had to go on-site for the second part. The on-site bit had three separate 30-minute chats. I spoke with HR, the hiring manager, and someone technical. They each asked about different things – like my background and what I want to do in the future, why I'm interested in the team, and also tested my technical knowledge and theory. The HR chat was specifically about my career goals and how I see myself growing.

The interview process had a few parts: First, a chat with the Talent Acquisition Partner. Then, an aptitude and personality test through a third party. After that, a 1:1 with the Manager. Next, I had to prepare a presentation to get a key stakeholder interested in SAP LeanIX. I then did a roleplay of this presentation for Upper Management, followed by questions and feedback. I also had an informal chat with two people who would be my future colleagues. The final round was with the VP/C-Level of Customer Success. Throughout this, the Acquisition Partner was helpful with prep and feedback. There was always an opportunity to ask questions and give feedback. The whole thing was super professional and well-run.

The interview process for this Senior Consultant role was pretty straightforward and organized. I got updates along the way, and everyone I talked to was nice and professional. It started with a call from HR about the company and the job. Then I had to do an online test with a math part and a personality part. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager for about an hour. We talked about my background and I answered some behavioral questions. The next interview was also an hour, with the hiring manager and another senior person. I had to present a case study on LeanIX, EA, and SAP that I got a week before. They give you plenty of time to prep and ask questions beforehand. The presentation took about 15 minutes, then we had Q&A. The last interview was with an executive for 30 minutes, focused on my career goals. I also had a casual chat with a team member, which was good for understanding the company culture and daily work. Overall, I was really happy with how the interviews went. They seem serious about hiring the right people.
