I began with a 30-minute phone chat. After that, I tackled an online, self-paced technical assessment. The next live interview was a Zoom call with both the hiring manager and the second-line manager. This company moves fast, and the interviewers were friendly and really wanted to understand my technical skills. The final stage involved the same team, plus an executive, who asked more in-depth behavioral questions to gauge my cultural fit.

The interviewer was really nice and helped me when I was stuck. The technical part involved pseudocode for a BST. They also asked algorithm questions and a quick general quiz on programming language knowledge and data structures.

Behavioral Other

I had a phone interview with the recruiter that was over 30 minutes long. It seemed to go well, and we had a good conversation. After discussing my background, the recruiter said they would contact me. The recruiter also messaged me on LinkedIn right after the call to have me complete an online application. A few days later, I got a rejection email. I was expecting an in-person interview at least, after the call and being told to fill out the application. The recruiter did mention he was going on leave. Something about their hiring process seems off, and I guess it's good they didn't waste more of my time.

  • Can you describe how you prioritize your tasks?

Got an email about two weeks after applying to set up an interview, but the link didn't work. I emailed them back, and they asked if I was free in three days at a specific time, which I was. But the day came and went, and nobody called. I emailed again to see if we could reschedule for later that week, giving them a few options. Never heard back from them, which felt pretty bad. Seriously, if you set up a phone interview, at least cancel if you've already hired someone else.
