The interview kicks off with an HR recruiter who's great at selling the company and its vision. However, they might gloss over the fact that you could end up working the early morning shift, like 5:30 am. It's important to be aware of this from the start. The management team seems to have an old-school approach, believing that the more hours you put in, the more you should be compensated. Keep an eye out for the shift details.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Chris Wacker, who is usually involved in sales interviews, and Nein-Ling, who is typically involved in marketing interviews, might ask some unusual questions. It's a good idea to have read the news or company articles recently. Chris also likes to ask if you read books to gauge your personal worth, but don't let that rattle you; it's fine to mention something from high school. This process is pretty straightforward; they just want to ensure you're not robotic. Try asking them questions back to get them talking.

Behavioral Technical

The whole thing took a few weeks. I applied online and they got back to me pretty quick, within a week or so. They had me come in for an interview at their Hong Kong office, which is located in a kind of weird industrial area, not typical for businesses there. I spoke with the International VP of Sales first, and then the MD joined for a chat. Both of them talked a lot, so I didn't get to say much. They asked standard interview questions.

Presentation Behavioral

I had to prep two presentations, one about the company and another on a topic of my choice. The interview itself was in a meeting room, separate from the actual office space. We started by chatting about me, my background, and what I'm good at. Then we touched on the company and the job. I ended up giving the presentation about the company, but I never got to do the second one.
