They mostly ask about the projects done and some easy technical questions. They care more about the candidate's personality. They also asked me about bubble point and dew point questions, humidification. For project based, if you have worked on CFD, do you have a good hold on basic fundamentals.

I interviewed with KBR Johnson space center Houston in July of 2021. It was a panel interview with 4 people and they asked basic questions on experience and where I see myself in 5 years. There was one lady on the call that asked me weird questions like “do you have experience using Teams” and “do you use bullet points in your emails?” I didn’t hear back until after 2 weeks when I followed up. They weren’t even going to send me a rejection email which I thought was unprofessional, especially since they requested letters of recommendation for the role. Update: 1 year later they asked me if I was still interested in the position.

A headhunter reached out around end of June and set up an interview that was about 3 days later. It was a 1-on-1 online call lasting 1.5 hours. Then, 2 weeks later, I had another interview, this time directly with the Client, also 1.5 hours. About a month after the first interview, I got an initial offer letter and was asked for my details and documents. But then, a month after that, after chasing HR 3 times with no response, I never got the detailed offer letter. Crazy to think what would have happened if I'd quit my job.

The interview process seemed appropriate and was relatively easy. I was contacted within the expected timeframe and was extended an offer. I asked about job security concerning the company being project-based, and they assured me it wasn't a typical worry. However, within two weeks of my start date, just enough time to arrange and pay for my move, the offer was rescinded because of project constraints. I felt this was unethical and would be cautious if offered a position again.
