Logistics Coordinator
I got the job through a recruiter in Houston. I made sure to call him every Monday morning, at the same time. He got to know me because I was so persistent. As soon as a job opened up that matched my skills, he called me back and offered me the position. I accepted, signed my paperwork, and was all set to head to Houston the following week.
- Regarding tattoos, scars, or any other identifying marks, are there any you have, particularly considering the possibility of working in a combat zone?
Logistics Coordinator
You apply online for the job you want. First, you'll talk to the recruiter over the phone, going over your resume and experience. If they like you, they'll fly you to Houston for a week of training. After that week, you'll head to Dubai for orientation to get you ready for Iraq. A big part of the interview is seeing if you're ready to work around an active war. Once you get to your base, there's a third orientation covering rules that could get you fired fast under general order 1.
- Are you ready to work in a difficult environment?
Logistics Coordinator
Straight forward i.e. if there is more than one option for position, pay discussed, what type of housing can be expected, transfer option, promotion options, which clothes work better, vacations and how vacations accured.
- Tell me about your previous experiences.
