Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KBR.
Civil Engineer
It was a pretty chill interview, more like a chat with my potential manager and team lead. It was just one round and HR got back to me pretty fast.
- Can you tell me about your past projects?
Structural Engineer
I applied online and then a recruiter, I think HR, called me. The interview process was actually pretty smooth because the person I spoke with was helpful. They asked some straightforward questions, and at the end, I got to ask them a bunch of my own questions.
- Which college electives did you take?
- How would you rate your familiarity with AutoCAD?
- Could you tell me about your experience with Staad software?
Structural Engineer
I applied through the college career fair. I had a phone call from HR about 4 days later. The interview was about 2 weeks after that. The questions were mostly behavioral and pretty easy. It took place on campus and lasted around 30 minutes, and I think it went well. But I still haven't heard back.
- Could you describe your relevant projects?
