It was a two week process. Started with a phone call from the recruiter. Then I had an interview with the lead mechanical engineer and the engineering manager. I heard back about the role within a week. The interview focused on hypothetical design scenarios and my past experience. There wasn't any technical test like a demonstration or written exam.

The process started with an online application, followed by a telephone screening interview, and then an assessment centre. It was a pretty straightforward and quick process to get to the final stage. The assessment centre included a group exercise, a presentation, a technical interview, and a HR interview. They asked very typical HR questions, and the technical interview focused more on how you explain your thought process rather than testing prior knowledge. I didn't get an offer and haven't received any feedback, which is a shame because only 5 people were at the assessment centre. This really soured what was otherwise a good experience.

It was a pretty standard interview process. They asked me some questions, and I answered them. I also got to ask them questions. Just the usual.
