The interview process was horrible, I don’t recommend it. They asked personal questions, were very rude. I don’t want to be part of such a company. I am happier at a different job that pays me way more!
- Could you tell me about your parents' jobs?
- What is your motivation for pursuing Private Equity?
- How would you describe your relationship with your family?

It was a good interview, they asked about my past experiences and it was conversational. The company seemed like a good place to work, and the interview was very straightforward. I'd suggest having a deal ready to ask them about. Their process involves going through different teams to process a deal, and it didn't seem arbitrary, unlike some other reviews suggested.
- Can you describe your typical daily responsibilities in your previous role?
- What deal would you prepare to discuss with us?

The interview process was rough. The first round had some really strange questions, super personal and possibly illegal, asking about parents' backgrounds, which seemed irrelevant to the firm. The second interview with a VP was conducted while he was driving over CarPlay. The salary offered was incredibly low. When I expressed interest in switching from sourcing to diligence, I was rejected about an hour after the interview. Honestly, don't bother applying; the online reviews are accurate and not exaggerated.
- What is it about your university that you love?
- Do you have any brothers or sisters?
- Could you describe yourself in high school?

The whole thing dragged on for over 6 weeks. First, there was a HireVue and some online aptitude tests. Then, I had a 30-minute virtual chat with an employee. After that, another 30-minute virtual chat with a different employee. More online tests followed, and then the stock pitch assignment. They gave me a public software company and I had to build a model and create a pitch deck to argue for a long or short position. I presented this to another employee. Next up was an in-office super day in Manhattan Beach, which they paid for. I did 5 interviews that day: four with pairs of interviewers and one with a single person. The morning after the super day, they called to say I was moving forward and requested 4-5 references. They then booked another flight and hotel for a final interview with the CEO/Founder. I confirmed the travel, my stay, and set up meetings with my four references. But, just 4 days before I was supposed to fly out for the CEO interview, they told me he couldn't make it and that I wasn't being considered anymore. When I pushed for reasons, they gave a bunch of excuses like 'miscommunication,' 'a senior person wasn't there,' and 'they're rethinking the role.' They didn't really give clear reasons from the team. I suspect maybe one of my references was an issue, but they actually canceled all four reference check appointments. Honestly, the people I met were great—really cool, smart, and nice, with a 'work hard, play hard' vibe. Still, I feel like they wasted dozens of hours of my time.
- Can you discuss your strengths and weaknesses?
- Could you explain what deferred revenue is?
- What B2B SaaS metrics do you focus on, and what are considered good benchmarks for them?
