Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at K1 Investment Management.
Intern
It was a five-step process, mostly behavioral interviews. Started with a video call, then two interviews with analysts, followed by two with senior team members. The only technical part was about SaaS and B2B businesses.
- Can you tell me how you embody our core values?
Intern
This was a bad interview experience. The interviewer was unprofessional and asked personal questions. I was interviewed for two roles, and even though the second one went well, I was automatically rejected. It was a confusing and odd process overall, with a rude and uncomfortable environment. I couldn't imagine starting a career here.
- Can you tell me about your childhood or your parents?
- Could you walk me through your resume?
- Was this your dream school, or did you just not get accepted into your dream school?
Intern
The interview process was pretty chill, not too many technical questions overall, but definitely be ready for SaaS-specific technical questions. The people were nice during the interview and asked a lot of behavioral questions. Make sure you know the 4 pillars and how they relate to your personal character.
- Can you tell me about a weakness you have?
