There was a pre-screen to understand your profile, English level, work setup, and similar details. It also covered your past experiences. The interview was polite and straightforward, conducted via Meet or Zoom. They also shared information about the company's experience and history.
- Can you tell me about your English proficiency?
- Describe your preferred work setup.
- Could you elaborate on your previous work experiences?
Intake Specialist
First, you have to get through an AI interview. If that goes alright, you'll talk to a hiring specialist. If that goes well, you move on to training. Once training is done, you're put into a pool of candidates. From there, a client might choose to interview you if they want to hire you. This whole thing usually takes at least a few months.
- Have you worked remotely before?
Legal Assistant
The whole process was super fast, which was surprising since I read other reviews saying it was long. They use AI for recruiting, which is pretty convenient and efficient. But the 20-minute interview itself? Awful. The interviewer was incredibly mean and just had a negative vibe the whole time. Her tone was terrible, and she just came off as unprofessional. I didn't get the job I applied for, and while I get that, they should at least tell us that upfront. It was super obvious the recruiter hadn't even looked at my application or any of my documents before our chat. When she asked that standard question, 'When would you be able to start if hired?', I said, 'In August.' Then she asked if I was currently working, and I said no. Right after that, she rudely asked why it would take me a month to start. I explained that I had just moved from another country and had some things to sort out before I could start, but she didn't seem to care at all. Honestly, even call centers do a better job of making a good first impression than this company. If the internal team is like this, I can only imagine what their clients are like!
- Can you share a professional achievement you are proud of?
- If you were offered the position, when could you begin working?
- Are you presently employed?
Intake Specialist
The interviews were straightforward, and the Job Duck (GSU) team was notably friendly and warm. However, it's important to know that each step of the process takes time, roughly one to two months. If you're looking to get a job very quickly, it might be better to look elsewhere. Also, you can only ask for salary increases after working with a client or project for at least 15 months.
- Tell us an interesting, non-work-related fact about yourself.
