It was a fairly easy process. There was a phone call and then two virtual interviews, all done over Zoom. I met with the operations team and portfolio directors. It was a good process, and then I met the team in person on my first day, two weeks later.

I was contacted by a recruiter who was based abroad and was professional for most of the process. The interviewers insisted on an in-person meeting for the first round. I made accommodations for them and sent them all the collateral they needed prior. They ghosted for 3 weeks and I had to ask the recruiter about the status.

The interview process was super quick and efficient, IQPC moved really fast through the interviews, and it was all done within two weeks. The interviews themselves were really informative and gave me a clear picture of the job and the company. They explained the final stage task really well, and I actually enjoyed doing it. IQPC was also really flexible with travel, letting me interview virtually, which was a lifesaver.

The initial online part was pretty smooth. I liked that I got a take-home task to show what I can do. The hiring manager was really clear about what might happen next. A bummer though, they interviewed me a second time even though I told them I don't have much B2B experience. After I did a presentation for the second interview, I just got a standard rejection email saying I wasn't the right fit for what they need right now. It's a bit disappointing to put in so much time and effort and then find out it wasn't a good match. They didn't give much feedback either. My interview experience with IQPC Singapore was a mixed bag. Even though I mentioned my limited B2B background early on, they still moved me to a second interview after a take-home assignment. While I appreciated showing my skills, it was a letdown to get a generic rejection email right after my presentation. It's obvious my background wasn't what they were looking for at the moment. On the bright side, the hiring manager was transparent and said they'd keep my resume for future roles. This whole thing is a learning moment for me. I'll be more careful about applying to jobs that need big assignments from now on. Hopefully, IQPC can do a better job matching candidates to roles in the future. It wasn't all great, but I'm thankful for the chance and wish them luck finding the right people.
