Senior HR Generalist
I was emailed by a recruiter who set up a phone interview. I got ready for it and even rescheduled other meetings. On the day of the interview, the recruiter ghosted me. After 30 minutes, I emailed them, and the next day they replied saying they were sick and wanted to reschedule. I sent my availability, but heard nothing back. Today, I got an email saying the hiring manager moved forward with another candidate. This company wasted my time and lied. I guess I dodged a bullet.

IT Infrastructure Administrator
I applied online and the whole process took about 3 weeks. First, a recruiter called me and was very nice. Then I was supposed to have a Teams meeting with the hiring manager, but it got postponed by a week. The interview with the hiring manager went well and felt pretty relaxed. I thought I'd move on. He even gave me his email for questions. However, a week later, the recruiter told me the hiring manager left the company, so I had to restart the first stage with an IT infrastructure engineer. Sadly, I didn't get the job after that. I guess it was just bad luck.
- Questions about Palo Alto firewalls
- Other technical questions
- Three HR behavioral questions
Project Controls Manager
It started with an HR Screening where they asked some behavioral questions. Then, I had an interview with the Hiring Manager, which focused on my skills and past experiences. The final stage was an in-person interview with about 5 staff members, one after another. They had some pre-prepared questions, a mix of behavioral and technical, and they really dug deep into the technical aspects. The whole process took a while and wasn't exactly hard, but it was kind of exhausting.
- How would you construct a project cost estimate when complete data is not available?
Renewable Development Associate
The recruiter called me for an initial interview. He sounded sick and argumentative, saying things like "well, that's debatable." It was frustrating because he didn't seem to understand my skills. His bad mood made me not want to apply for other jobs at the company. He said I'd hear back in a week, but it's been three weeks since I followed up with a thank you email the day after. This is a job I'm qualified for, and I'm interviewing with other companies that have been much nicer. It was off-putting.
- Can you share your experience in communicating with homeowners or stakeholders?
