I had a quick call with a recruiter from Invenergy who asked me about my background and to get to know me. Then, they scheduled two more interviews for me with engineering managers from different teams. I decided not to continue with the process after those calls because their hiring timeline didn't match mine.

First, there was a recruiter phone screen. Then, I had 3-hour Zoom calls with the VP where we talked about my past work. They were looking for someone with experience in technical analysis for Generation interconnection into the transmission grid.

It's pretty chill. They don't seem to ask a ton of questions, and actually, I was interviewed for a few different roles. It was mostly a chance for me to ask them stuff. Towards the end, one of the current employees will take you out to lunch (paid for by the company) where you can ask them anything and kind of get to know them before you join the team.
