First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Invenergy.
Analyst
They did 1 initial screen, then 2 virtual interviews, followed by 3 in-person interviews. It was a very straightforward process. Just make sure you are up to speed on what's going on in the industry and the largest pain points. The offices are very nice.
- What qualifications do you have that make you a good fit for this job?
- What are the biggest issues facing the industry?

I applied and a couple days later I had my first interview with HR, it was a screen to see if I was interested in the role and the company. After that, the hiring manager for this position called me again to gauge my interest in the role, it felt more like a conversation. A couple weeks later, I was invited back for a half-day virtual panel interview with five employees from different teams that I would be working with in the role. I was a bit intimidated at first that I was meeting with people at the Vice President and Senior Vice President levels but once I had the conversations, I felt very welcomed and comfortable. These interviews were pretty standard behavioral and experiential questions. Invenergy used Microsoft Teams for the interview process and it was clear and all transitions between interviews were pretty seamless. Following the interview, the recruiter was very communicative of Invenergy's interest, and would call me periodically to check in on me and if I was still interested. I ended up receiving an offer three weeks after the last interview and about a week and half after the recruiter signaling Invenergy's interest. I accepted the offer. Overall, the interview process was smooth but a little long. I was grateful to have the same recruiter throughout the process and the lines of communication were definitely open through the whole process, something that cannot be said at all companies.
- Tell me about a project you worked on that involved multiple departments.
- Describe a situation where you had to persuade someone to change their viewpoint.
Analyst
The recruiting team did a great job facilitating the interview process. It was challenging but comprehensive. I spoke with people from different departments and also with people in roles similar to the one I was applying for. They really knew their stuff technically, and the job duties and expectations were communicated very clearly.
- Describe your teamwork approach.
