The interview process involves three to four one-on-one interviews with people at different levels. There isn't a panel interview. The interviewers were very nice and answered all questions patiently. They are looking for someone who can get the job done with little oversight.

I applied for a different role, but HR referred me for this Operations Accountant position. They set up a 30-minute phone screening, but scheduled it during a time I told them I wasn't available. Luckily, I could move things around. On the day of the screening, they didn't call at the scheduled time. I emailed them 10 minutes in to check, and they called right back saying they'd called the wrong number and left a voicemail for someone else. Because of this mix-up, I didn't have time to ask any questions at the end. The HR person also didn't seem to have read my resume well, as they asked if I'd rather do a screening for a different role I'd never heard of. I stuck with the Operations Accountant role I applied for. They mentioned the in-office expectation is 5 days a week, with the possibility of working remotely 4 times a month, but it needs manager approval beforehand. This isn't too surprising given the push for more office time, but it doesn't seem very flexible. Honestly, the interviewer seemed unprepared, and the whole call could have gone much smoother. They asked pretty basic questions. They also made a weird comment about my public accounting audit experience not translating to an Operations Accountant role, even though the job description mentions assisting with audit work papers. I explained how my experience is relevant and that I learn quickly, but they seemed uninterested. I declined to move forward with the interview process for this role.
