The recruiter led the interview very well and clearly explained the interview process. During the English interview, she communicated effectively. I had some scheduling issues, but she managed to adjust and reschedule the times to suit both of us.

The whole process was really fast. The day the HR person contacted me on LinkedIn, I spoke with the Hiring Manager, and then five days later, I had a conversation with the Director. The questions were pretty standard for an interview, but the director wanted to dive deeper into my professional experiences.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

Basically, it was super long and felt repetitive even though they responded quickly. There were four interviews: one with HR, two with the team, and one with the manager, plus a test. Honestly, I think they could have done it all in two, maybe three interviews max. They asked the same questions over and over, and didn't seem very interested in my qualifications or experience. The only time it felt like there was any real interaction, it seemed like they were just asking from a script. The test itself was full of trick questions, like that's supposed to measure your programming skills. Oh, and one of the 'technical interviews', which felt more like an interrogation, they asked me about methods, problem-solving approaches, and also gave me a short coding test. After I finished that, they asked me to write another piece of code (which seemed totally unnecessary) while I was explaining my thought process as I wrote it. It's hard to concentrate on the logic when you're doing that. It really felt like they doubted my abilities as a developer. Just exhausting and not needed.

Behavioral Technical Coding

It started with a recruiter call where they talked up the new tech and innovation. Then I talked to the director about my background and to rate myself 1-10 on various tech. The next round was with the same director and a senior dev, and they asked the same rating questions, but this time we played buzzword bingo. What was surprising is that a lot of the job is working with old tech, not the Azure, micro-services, and React that was in the job description. Also, the recruiter said it would be 2 interviews then an offer, but after the second interview they added a take-home project. Total waste of time, should have believed the Glassdoor reviews.
