Product Manager
The interview process started with a recruiter phone call, followed by a phone screen with the hiring manager and their peers. Then there were 2 rounds of onsite interviews. Finally, they extended a job offer. It was a very methodical process that took about 4 weeks overall. They asked a lot of questions about process and methodology.
- Tell me about your prior experience. What did you do?
- Can you describe your experience in product management?
- What is your experience with agile methodologies?
Product Manager
First, there was a phone call with HR. Then, a 1-hour phone interview with the Hiring Manager. After that, a 1-2 hour face-to-face interview with the direct supervisor. Lastly, at least a 1-hour panel phone interview with managers from different departments to confirm my understanding of the job. The background check takes about a week, and then I have another week to start working.
- Can you describe how you would deliver unfavorable news to clients or colleagues?
- Explain your understanding of your job responsibilities.
- What distinctive personal quality do you possess that would enhance your performance in this role, beyond your past experience?
Associate Product Manager
The hiring process was fine and the interview process was sweet and short. It was a one on one process. All questions were answered on the spot and an offer was made a few weeks later.
- What's your reason for leaving your current position?
