So I talked to the recruiter first, that went well, then I met the hiring manager, which was also good. They had me come in for an in-person presentation to the hiring manager and someone who would report to me, and I also met with their senior director. After that, I had my final meeting with the COO. He was late and seemed really arrogant, and just kind of pointed me to the door when he was done. Then it took like two months to hear back. They kept saying it was delays because of the holidays or they needed to interview more people. The job got reposted, but they told me I was still being considered. In the end, I didn't get the job.

I interviewed multiple times via phone and in-person for the AE role in Indianapolis with both the recruiter and the hiring manager. After putting in a lot of effort, I was informed that there wasn't actually a job opening. I was told I did great and that they'd bring me back for a final meeting and offer once something became available. I've followed up professionally through LinkedIn, email, and text for months with no response. This seems to be how they operate, wasting people's time on fake jobs and then ghosting them, which speaks to their unprofessional and careless business practices. So, I'm glad I found out before joining. Based on my experience and others' similar stories, I'd advise saving your time and not pursuing this opportunity.

A recruiter contacted me, and we had a 30-minute chat to go over my background. Then, a virtual interview with the hiring manager was set up. After that, I went on-site for another interview where I had to do a test. The test was pretty good and was meant to check my skills. Following the test, I had more interviews with the manager and supervisor. I got an offer letter after the on-site interviews and asked for a bit more money. The next morning, they rescinded the offer and said the position was gone. I talked to the recruiter, and they said due to some internal changes, they couldn't offer the job anymore but would keep my resume. I had turned down another offer because I really wanted this job.

First I had to do this knowledge assessment thing. Then the manager and a lead person interviewed me. They asked questions that followed up on the test, mostly to see how much I really knew. They also threw in some customer service type questions. Even though I didn't get the job, it was a really good interview experience. No tricky questions that I could tell. I got a pretty clear picture of what the job entails and where my tech knowledge gaps are. Probably the best two hours I've spent interviewing, even for a job I didn't get.
