A recruiter contacted me, and we had a 30-minute chat to go over my background. Then, a virtual interview with the hiring manager was set up. After that, I went on-site for another interview where I had to do a test. The test was pretty good and was meant to check my skills. Following the test, I had more interviews with the manager and supervisor. I got an offer letter after the on-site interviews and asked for a bit more money. The next morning, they rescinded the offer and said the position was gone. I talked to the recruiter, and they said due to some internal changes, they couldn't offer the job anymore but would keep my resume. I had turned down another offer because I really wanted this job.

A technical recruiter from Impact Networking contacted me by email to set up an initial phone screen. We talked about my background and if it fit the job. Then, we arranged an on-site interview for later that week at their main office in Lake Forest. I met the Director of Projects and Service there. We talked about my past jobs, my pros and cons, and where I see myself career-wise down the line. After that, I had to take a skills test so they could check my technical abilities. We then briefly chatted about his first impressions and what would happen next. The next day, I got a call asking me to come back the following week to meet with the same Director and also the VP of Managed IT Services. We went over my past experience again and what they expected from me in the role. The meeting ended with me getting an offer letter from Impact. The whole interview process was nice, professional, and straightforward. I thought the questions were smart and designed to make sure I was a good match. The technical assessment also felt like a fair and accurate way to gauge my technical skills. It was a great interview experience, and I'm really looking forward to starting my career at Impact Networking!

I got a call from corporate recruiting first, then I had an onsite interview set up with the hiring manager. Before the face-to-face meeting, they gave me a 100+ question technical test. After that, I had another interview scheduled with the VP of Managed Services.
