Started with a phone call, then had two in-person interviews, did a ride along, and finished with a final in-person. They really wanted to make sure I knew what I was getting into. Being able to do ride alongs and talk to current employees was good to see past the sales pitches. They were upfront that it's not a typical full-time job, you're looking at 10-14+ hours daily, and no remote work. I passed on the offer because of the crazy hours, no remote option, low pay, a mileage stipend that wouldn't cover gas and car wear, mandatory suits and ties daily, and the constant turnover of salespeople. Some of these practices seem outdated. While suits look nice, it's becoming less common. They seem to be burning people out with this approach. I liked everyone I met and hope they do well. Their company offerings are great, but these factors made it a no for me.

It was a three day process with an initial interview, a ride day, and then a final interview with a partner. The interview felt a little intimidating, but I think they make it that way to keep their turnover down. They're not looking for someone just applying for any job, but rather someone who works at impact.

I had an initial interview with the recruiter. They asked a lot about why I'd be a good fit and how I deal with rejection. The interview was pretty relaxed, and the recruiter made sure I understood the job duties. They asked questions to check if I can think quickly and learn from errors, which is key for a salesperson. This job is tough but can be rewarding if you put in the effort. It's not for everyone but a great start in sales.
