First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IBEX Global.
Devops Engineer
The interview process was quick, though the initial part was a bit tough. No HR was involved, so it was just okay overall. The main problem was the technical interview with two technical staff who seemed inexperienced in interviewing and making candidates feel at ease.
- Do you have experience with Terraform?
Team Manager
It usually kicks off with a recruiter screening, pretty much just confirming your resume details. The interview itself was quite straightforward, covering things like your strengths, weaknesses, and how you delegate tasks. They also asked about managing team conflicts and boosting team morale, which are pretty standard for leadership positions.
- Could you describe an instance where you had to work with a colleague you found difficult?
Technical Recruiter
This interview process was pretty tough, mainly because there were so many situational and behavioral questions thrown my way. I get why they ask these to see how candidates handle real stuff, but man, it was a lot to get through. Like, they wanted specific examples from my past, such as how I dealt with a tough project or a workplace conflict, which really made me think back on my previous jobs. It was sometimes hard to recall all the details and present my answers well, especially when I was feeling the pressure.
- Can you tell me about the tools or software you utilize to make your recruitment process more efficient?
Customer Service Representative
For this international company, there were 3 interviews to pass. They made it easier by having an ILA ibex learning academy where we could learn how to interview, and then we had to pass 1 final interview after 2 weeks of training. Sometimes it was easy, sometimes it was hard to pass the interview, my experience wasn't that great, but I managed to do it.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Describe how you would manage a situation with an upset customer.
- Compose an email to a customer who was expecting a Spiderman cake but received a butterfly cake.
