Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IBEX Global.
Team Manager
It usually kicks off with a recruiter screening, pretty much just confirming your resume details. The interview itself was quite straightforward, covering things like your strengths, weaknesses, and how you delegate tasks. They also asked about managing team conflicts and boosting team morale, which are pretty standard for leadership positions.
- Could you describe an instance where you had to work with a colleague you found difficult?
Manager
The interview process was easy from my perspective. Three people were on the call, but only one conducted the interview while the other two observed. That observation part was the most thrilling aspect, as you couldn't hear from them, but it was an exhilarating experience.
- Can you tell me why you want to be a manager?
Team Manager
First, there was a phone interview. If I did well, I would be invited for a face-to-face interview, or some might call it a second interview. After that, I was told I'd be contacted. Later that same day, I got an email from Ibex saying my interview was successful and that I should bring some documents a week later to start the onboarding process for training.
