Customer Service Representative
For this international company, there were 3 interviews to pass. They made it easier by having an ILA ibex learning academy where we could learn how to interview, and then we had to pass 1 final interview after 2 weeks of training. Sometimes it was easy, sometimes it was hard to pass the interview, my experience wasn't that great, but I managed to do it.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Describe how you would manage a situation with an upset customer.
- Compose an email to a customer who was expecting a Spiderman cake but received a butterfly cake.
Customer Service Representative
The IBEX interview was pretty simple. They mainly wanted to see if you knew your way around a computer and how you'd handle different customer situations. You'll get questions on tech support, dealing with customer problems, and using software for tasks. If you're good with computers and can figure things out on the spot, it's totally doable. It helps to brush up on how to use software and fix common tech problems before you go in.
- Can you introduce yourself? Additionally, what's your approach to troubleshooting common computer problems?
Customer Service Representative
They called me for an interview but it felt like a waste of time. When I mentioned I was a student, they implied they wanted someone with no other obligations, someone whose sole focus would be working for Ibex. They should be upfront about this preference or decline candidates during the initial call.
- Are you a student or engaged in other activities?
- Are you willing to make Ibex your sole priority?
- Do you have other commitments?
