It was a pre-interview assessment with Knockri, this AI platform. There were 5 questions, and you had one minute to prep for each. Then you had two minutes to answer each question on webcam. An AI later reviewed the questions, but we didn't get the results.
- Can you share an experience where you demonstrated leadership?
- Tell me about a time you took charge of a project or task.
- What actions did you take to make sure it was successful, and what happened in the end?
Project Engineer
We had an online interview assessment where they asked 3 questions. Each question was mainly trying to outline my decision making skills and experience in difficult situations. We were given 3 minutes for each question, with about a minute after each question was asked to prepare.
- Tell me about a time you were on a job time crunch, what did you do, and what was the outcome?
- Describe a difficult situation you were in at work, what you did, and what the outcome was.
- How have your decision making skills and experience in difficult situations been outlined?
Amio Engineer
The interview process felt really welcoming and chill, which helped me relax. It wasn't rushed or scary, but set up so I could take my time and explain things well. I had to record answers to some questions, which was cool 'cause I could really think about what I wanted to say and show off my skills in a relaxed way. It felt more personal, less stressful, and let me show both my tech knowledge and how I communicate.
- In a diverse team setting, what strategies would you employ to guarantee all voices are acknowledged?
Business Analyst Intern
So the first step was this online video assessment. It's like a 3-question thing where they use your webcam and/or mic. You get 12 minutes total to finish it. They give you a system tour and a practice run beforehand, and tell you how much time you have for each question. You can take breaks between questions, and it saves your spot. You'll get to do a full practice run before starting the real assessment.
- How do you feel about diversity in a group?
- What's your strategy for integrating into a new team?
- Describe your approach when facing an unfinishable task.
