Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hydro One.
Project Management Intern
So the first interview was remote, it was not hard and there was no phone screening. They asked some behavioral questions, like how you handle conflict with a colleague, and what your opinion on project management is, and about experiences.
- Can you describe a time you had a conflict with a colleague and how you handled it?
- What does project management mean to you?
- Could you share some of your relevant experiences?

- What is your understanding of Hydro One and your motivations for wanting to join our company?
- Can you describe an instance where you successfully resolved a conflict in a professional setting?
Project Controller
Usually, the first meeting is when you first sit down with the people who might hire you. They want to get to know you and see if your skills and background match what they need for this specific job. They also want to see if you'd be a good fit for the company's vibe.
