The interview process was pretty bad. The first round (L1) was only about 30 minutes. The interviewer didn't seem very interested and was checked out the whole time. Instead of talking about practical stuff, he asked really specific and odd questions about process.nextTick and other JavaScript internals that aren't used much in daily coding. I tried my best to answer everything. At one point, we talked about useState, and I explained it and gave a solution that I thought was right, but the interviewer didn't want to discuss it or consider my point. Two days later, the same interviewer called me back to schedule my next round (L2) for that day at 11 AM. I asked him to confirm if it was L2, and he said "Sorry, sorry, I called you by mistake." The call just ended. Later, when I politely asked for an update on my L1 result, I found out I was rejected. All in all, it felt unprofessional and badly handled. Better communication and treating candidates with respect would really improve things.

Applied in early to mid 2024 and went through the standard phone screen. After that, I had a Teams meeting for the first round with the hiring manager, who is the direct report for the role. This interview lasted about 45 minutes, exceeding the scheduled 30, and it went well. I was then moved to the second and final round, also on Teams. This second interview wasn't as smooth but still went okay, finishing within the 30-minute window. Unfortunately, I never heard back after the second interview, and my follow-up email received no response.

The interview experience was good. It was completed in 4 stages. The first call was with the DevOps manager to discuss the company. The second and third stages were technical interviews, followed by an HR discussion. The entire process took about 3 weeks.

It was a good interview process until the end. It took three weeks and three interviews. First, HR did a quick 10-15 minute screening and we discussed salary. Then I had an assignment that I finished over the weekend. The HR person got back to me quickly to schedule the hiring manager interview after reviewing my assignment. The next interview was a 30-minute video call with the hiring manager, which I thought went well and had straightforward questions. The third week, I had a 30-minute video interview with two staff members, which also went smoothly. I was really impressed with how smooth everything was and the great communication from HR. The staff and hiring manager seemed great. But then, a week after my last interview, I followed up with HR on a Friday. They said they'd have a decision by Monday and then I heard nothing. Then I saw the job reposted the same week I had my third interview (and I'm sure others did too!). It's a shame that a process that started out so much better than others ended with the same unprofessional ghosting and shady practices.
