First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at HMH Education.
Professional Services Consultant
I had to do a 20-minute slideshow presentation, acting like I was presenting to a client after a sale. They gave me the presentation material about a week before. After that, I had a chat with 3 interviewers where they asked me typical interview questions. It felt pretty relaxed but still professional.
- Tell me about a time you had to handle a challenging client.
- What accomplishment are you most proud of?
- What led you to leave teaching?
Professional Services Consultant
I did recorded responses to some questions online first, and then there was an in person interview. For the in person part, I had to create a 10 minute presentation, and then they asked me some follow up questions.
- Could you tell me about your current employment status?
- Would you be comfortable with traveling for this role?
- How do you keep yourself updated on current educational trends?
Consultant
Typically, they ask questions about your personality and to see if you're a fit for both the job and the company. There was also a presentation for the product.
- What is your contribution to the company?
- Tell me about your personality and how you'd fit in here.
