This was a super fast and smooth interview process. I got a LinkedIn message from a recruiter about a design opening. After I responded, I had a phone interview with someone from their Orlando team. That same week, they invited me for an in-person interview where I met a senior designer and the design director. It was a relaxed chat where I presented my portfolio and work, and they showed me what the job would entail. On the same day, they asked me to come back for a second in-person interview the next day. I met more people, learned about the daily tasks, and got a tour of their great new office. After the weekend, they made me an offer on Monday, which I accepted.

The interview began with a quick HR screening call to check on things like sponsorship needs. Then, I had to do an online video interview where I recorded 2-minute responses to questions about favorite online tools, past challenges, and how I've persuaded my team. After that, they asked about my salary expectations. I found the whole video thing really uncomfortable and time-consuming, and I didn't get to learn much about the actual job. It also felt a bit too early to discuss salary before understanding the job's demands, like working hours or travel. They might be filtering candidates based on salary. Given the negative Glassdoor reviews, I'm not too bothered about not moving forward.
