So the interview process for this job is like a multi-stage thing where they first look at your application, then do a phone screen, then some skill tests, and then a bunch of interviews with recruiters, the hiring managers, and the team, to see if you got the skills, experience, and if you fit the culture. After all that, they decide if they want to make an offer.

First up was a phone chat, then they picked a few of us for another interview. This one went for about 2 hours and they asked about my past work and how I could use what I learned in school for the job. That was it.

The interview process for the role was typical. I interviewed with a talent acquisition manager, a recently hired Group Strategy Director, and finally, another Group Strategy Director who has been with the company for almost two years. The initial interviews went very well, with thoughtful questions and a good opportunity to discuss my qualifications and experience, making me feel confident. However, the final interview was disappointing. From the start, it was clear the interviewer wasn't interested, and I can't understand why. Despite being highly qualified and willing to accept a significant pay cut, it was disheartening to see the entire decision hinge on one person. I wish there had been a panel interview to prevent this issue. Nonetheless, everyone was pleasant, and I hope to have the chance to interview with another team in the future.

I was contacted by HR for a call with one of their team members. The HR person didn't show up to our first meeting without any notice or apology. I rescheduled with them for the next day, and they were still over 15 minutes late. Our conversation went well, and we planned the next interview for the following week. Then, I was ghosted and had to contact them multiple times to find out they had chosen someone else. The HR people were nice, but I felt really hurt by the process. It was disappointing for a company I respected and was excited about. I hope others don't have the same experience. It felt disrespectful.
