Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview process was thorough, thoughtful, and well-structured. It started with a recruiter chat, then multiple rounds with stakeholders from the exec team and Vista Equity Partners. I also had to do a case study and present a 12-18 month Value Creation Plan. The team was engaged and asked insightful questions, showing they value strategic thinking and alignment with their mission. Communication was consistent and respectful, reflecting a company that takes its work and culture seriously.

  • There were many questions asked, and it wouldn't be fair to summarize them with just one.

Technical Behavioral

This was a really disappointing process where candidates felt objectified. It started with a phone screen with HR from an external team, which was pleasant. Then came a technical/aptitude assessment, a logic test like IQ/GMAT questions, which felt like they were screening for a specific IQ level. I scored well enough to proceed. Next, I interviewed with the hiring manager, a standard chat about role expectations and projects, with behavioral questions. It seemed a technical background wasn't essential, but they needed someone good with technical discussions and managing stakeholders. The final interview with the hiring manager and their skip level took another strange turn. They intensely questioned my technical skills, even asking about handling a SQL query, but completely ignored my experience in stakeholder management, leadership, and vendor management. After that, I heard nothing for 3 weeks, which felt unprofessional and made me think about the negative culture mentioned elsewhere. It was a weird process overall, testing IQ first and not aligning with the job description. They seemed to want a technical lead rather than a Product Development Manager.

Behavioral

This was the best interview process I've experienced so far. The recruiter was professional and very friendly. Throughout the interview rounds, none of the interviewers showed any disdain, intimidation, or discrimination towards me. They kept me informed and I didn't have to chase them for updates. I wish I could mention names but I'll try something, AB, JS, LH, CL, SK, CK. These individuals were very approachable and professional, which gave me the confidence that this is a team I'd want to be a part of. Cheers 🥂

Behavioral Other

I had an initial phone screen with the recruiter. Then I was sent an aptitude and personality test to take. After I submitted that test I was told that I did well and was offered an in person interview at the office. I went to the interview and felt like it went well I was asked about salary expectations and where I am at with other job interviews. I interviewed on a Thursday and was told that I should hear back by early the next week. I followed up with the recruiter and both of the people that I interviewed with and thanked them for their time. After a few days passed the following week without hearing back I followed up again with the recruiter with no answer. I was completely ghosted until today when I received a do not reply automated email letting me know I didn’t get the role. No feedback and no human element. I had to take time off during my work day to accommodate the in person interview and they didn’t even have the decency to give me a phone call.
