My interview journey involved a standard sequence for a flight attendant role. It started with submitting my application, followed by some online test modules. Then, I had a virtual on-demand interview (ODI). After the ODI, it took a couple of days to find out I was successful and moving forward. It then took several weeks to get a callback for the in-person interview. Still waiting and hoping for the best regarding the face-to-face interview.

The interview process started with a brief pre-screen, then moved to three interviews with increasing levels of senior management. They mostly asked typical behavior-based questions focusing on leadership, experience, and personality. The interviews went smoothly and the process was quite fast. Although I didn't get selected, I did make it to the final interview. They didn't send a rejection email even after I sent thank-you notes to the panel. It was a generally positive experience, and I'd consider interviewing with them again.

I went to the in-person interview in Denver last year but didn't get the job. First, you give your resume and passport to the recruiter. Then, you're in a conference room with about 6 other people for a group interview. Everyone answers 3 questions, some harder than others, which I thought was unfair. After a short break, they call you out one by one. If you're called to a different room, it means you didn't get hired and can reapply in 6 months. The recruiter wouldn't give feedback, which was weird because how are we supposed to learn? It felt like it was all about whether the recruiter liked you. Two people at my table, who are already flight attendants elsewhere, didn't get in. The presenter, Jamye, was also unprofessional, talking about marijuana and her husband. If that's who they hire, it's not for me. At least they paid for my flight, so I stayed a bit longer to enjoy the trip.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process kicked off with a recruiter chat about the role and my experience. After that, I had a 2nd interview with the hiring manager, who was the team's director. He actually missed our first scheduled time and we had to reschedule. The rescheduled 2nd interview was supposed to be a 30-minute technical session, but he didn't seem very into it. He briefly mentioned the role and then asked me technical questions, like the difference between .NET Framework and .NET Core. Once he was done with his questions, I got to ask mine. I asked a few, but since he was so disengaged and only gave short answers, I could tell it wasn't going to work out, so we wrapped up the interview. I didn't hear back from the recruiter, so I followed up a week later, and he just gave me the standard line about having too many candidates and they were moving in a different direction.
