Behavioral Technical Case

So I had this interview that went pretty well, I think. It started with a 30-minute chat with the hiring manager. After that, there was a much longer, 2-hour interview where I met with a bunch of managers and directors, and we did an Excel case study. Before all that, I had to fill out a prescreen questionnaire and they asked about my current salary. Weirdly, after spending 2.5 hours interviewing, they offered me a job that paid 11k less than I make now. When I tried to negotiate, they told me my salary was way outside their range. Honestly, makes me wonder why they even interviewed me if they couldn't even get close to my current pay. Totally felt like a waste of my time.

After the initial screening, I got to set up a video interview. It was a one-on-one thing and pretty chill. The interviewer was good at making me feel comfortable and easing the usual interview stress. They asked questions and gave quick feedback after each answer.
