So, I had this interview for General Manager. The Regional Director, who I interviewed with before and didn't hear back from, didn't tell me the Board of Directors would be in the Zoom meeting. I sent a thank you note like you're supposed to. Still no response or feedback, same as last time. I had to contact a Regional VP just to get the interview. I've got 20 years of experience, but it's like I can't even get a chance. Meanwhile, they hired another manager I know who has all sorts of issues. It's frustrating, you know?

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The Regional Director asked me nothing. The Board did all the talking. A heads up that I would be interviewing with them and not the RD would have been nice.

Behavioral

So I went through their whole interview process. It started with a screening call, and then I had an in-person interview scheduled with the director. But when I got there, it turned out to be with two managers instead, and nobody bothered to tell me beforehand. Even with that surprise, the interview itself went pretty well. What really ticked me off though was the total radio silence afterward. It's been weeks and I still haven't heard anything – no updates, not even a rejection email. After all the effort I put into preparing, traveling to their office, and doing the interview, you'd think they could at least send a simple courtesy email. It's just unprofessional and disrespectful.
