Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FirstService Residential.
Data Management
It was fairly easy, but I had to go through 3 rounds. I met with the team and manager twice, and then lastly with the president. They asked the typical questions.
- Can you walk me through your background and professional history?
Assistant Manager
I applied and got a phone call, then I followed up and called them back. I had an in-person interview, and they offered me the job, which I accepted. They interviewed me for one position, but ended up offering me a different one because the Manager really liked some of my qualities.
- Can you tell me about your previous job experiences?
- How did you deal with challenging situations at your last job?
- How were your relationships with your colleagues in your past work?
Manager
I had a quick interview with the Recruiter who set up a final interview with the Las Vegas President and a Regional Director. The process was quick and professional. My complaint is that they never got back to me after the interview. That is fine if I am not the right candidate but have the decency and professionalism to keep the candidates in the loop of the process and let them know they are not being moved forward in the process.
