Customer Success Manager
Initially, I was considered for an Engagement Manager position. However, the hiring team believed a Customer Success Manager role would be a better fit for my profile. While the offered salary range didn't meet my expectations, the team indicated that I could be considered for a senior-level position if I advanced. I completed one interview that went well, after which I was given a take-home assignment. This assignment took approximately 4-5 hours to complete, even for someone not highly technical. Unfortunately, I was rejected shortly after submitting it, without receiving any specific feedback.

Solutions Engineer
I was contacted via Linkedin to start. The interview process had 1) Recruiter screen 2) Peer behavioral interview 3) A take-home assessment that took a few hours to complete 4) A presentation of the take-home assessment to the Sr Director of the team. Unfortunately, I was rejected after the presentation and didn't receive any feedback, which was disappointing given the time spent on the assessment and presentation prep. It felt like everything was going well until then. Even when I asked for feedback, I was ghosted. It's frustrating not knowing what went wrong, especially when assessments are involved.

- For this particular customer issue, what diagnosis would you make?
Strategy Manager
I was initially contacted by the CEO via a mutual connection. Then I was introduced to the Head of Strategy. I had to complete a take-home case study that involved analyzing the business case potential for the company. After that, I was invited for a final in-office interview. I met with the Team Head, and then several staff members including HR and the Chief of Staff. We talked about the project and my background.
- Can you walk me through your reasoning for the case study?
Performance Marketing Lead
The interview felt like a bit of a waste of time. I had a 30-minute call with someone from the marketing team, but they were late and seemed distracted. They asked about my marketing experience, tech skills, and team management experience, but they didn't seem to be paying attention. They even left the camera for a bit, which was unprofessional. It seemed like they already had someone internal in mind, so the interview felt like a formality. Honestly, don't bother with this place; it seems to have toxic workplace politics and no work-life balance.
- Can you introduce yourself, describe your team size, and mention the largest budget you've managed?
- Tell me about yourself, your team size, and the biggest budget you've handled.
