First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Einfochips.
Intern
The interview process started with an HR round, followed by a technical round. The technical round involved medium-difficulty Python questions covering OOP, databases, and general topics. They also asked in-depth questions about my projects. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd recommend having clear coding concepts before applying.
- Can you tell me about your project?
ASIC Engineer
So the whole process has three main parts. First, there's like a basic aptitude and core subject multiple choice questions round. Then, if you clear that, you go into one or more technical rounds, which are usually group discussions. The number of technical rounds can change based on how many people pass the first stage, to make sure they really focus on the candidates that made it through.
- basic aptitude questions like percentages
- aptitude questions on time and work
- aptitude questions on profit and loss
Programmer
So first, we had an aptitude test, which was basically to check your logical reasoning, analytical skills, and how you solve problems, just to filter people based on their thinking abilities. Then there was a technical interview where they checked my core technical knowledge, how well I could code, and my problem-solving approach using programming languages and technologies relevant to the job. Finally, there was an HR interview. They focused on how good my communication was, if I'd fit into the company culture, what my career goals were, and also talked about salary and company rules.
- Basic questions on C/C++ like loops and arrays.
Firmware Engineer
This was a completely unhelpful experience, probably the worst I've had. The first interview was with a panel that shouldn't have been interviewing me as they lacked deep knowledge in embedded and firmware, and had poor understanding of electronics. The interview panel was terrible, and I've never encountered one like it. After a lot of follow-up, HR said I was rejected even though I thought everything went well. I'm really disappointed and advise against this company, as I've heard many negative reviews.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
