ASIC Engineer
So the whole process has three main parts. First, there's like a basic aptitude and core subject multiple choice questions round. Then, if you clear that, you go into one or more technical rounds, which are usually group discussions. The number of technical rounds can change based on how many people pass the first stage, to make sure they really focus on the candidates that made it through.

FPGA Engineer
Questions were easy to medium, and were very logical. Digital design and verilog were the areas of questions asked to me. They were hiring for someone who knew UART, SPI, I2C, and asked me whether I know about any of these protocols. Asked me questions on UART and SPI specifically.
- Can you write a Verilog code for a 2:1 mux?
- Then, could you instantiate this 2:1 mux to make a 4:1 mux?
Physical Design Engineer
Applied via LinkedIn and a recruiter reached out. We discussed my skills, experience, and salary expectations. They also checked if I had any internal referrals. My resume was then sent for technical review. The next day, I received a call to schedule a face-to-face interview. I successfully completed two interview rounds and an HR interview, which led to my selection. All final offer discussions happened, and the offer was extended the same day, matching my expectations and including an unexpected joining bonus. I've decided to accept and start in one week.
