Design Engineer
They went over basic digital design concepts and timing analysis concepts, ASIC design flow, and the RTL to GDS process. Covered static timing analysis, physical design, and layout DRC. Also touched on electro migration, IR drop, and noise. They were interested in RTL and Verilog code.
- Can you explain setup and hold time?
Trainee Engineer
The whole process took 2 days and consisted of three rounds. First, there was an Aptitude & Technical Test. For CSE roles, it mainly included questions from C, C++, quantitative aptitude, digital Logic, and processor concepts. The next day, there were two Technical Interviews focusing solely on C and C++. They also inquired about my projects and included puzzles – one in the first round and an electrical one in the second.

Senior Engineer
The interview started with a phone call, then I had a Skype meeting. After clearing Skype, I was invited for a personal interview in Ahmedabad. The technical team at eInfochips conducted multiple interviews, mostly focusing on technical questions. The overall process was difficult, but I managed to crack it. It was a good interview experience.
