The interview had 3 rounds total. First, I had an online assessment that had 2 dsa questions and 1 sql question. For the dsa questions, each had 15 testcases and I passed 13 and 12 respectively. After the OA, 20 people were shortlisted for 2 more rounds. The next round was a technical interview where I was asked a sql question and had to write it on paper, followed by a discussion about my resume. The final round was an HR interview, which mostly consisted of behavioral questions.

Technical Coding

So I interviewed with this company and it was a complete disaster. The interviewer didn't even bother turning on his camera or introducing himself, he just jumped straight into asking me about Selenium locators. He kept asking about Java stuff even though I told him my recent experience is in JavaScript. I tried to answer to show I can adapt, but he clearly wasn't listening. He insisted I write Java code, ignoring my background. After only 8 minutes, he just said he was 'done' and 'not interested.' No feedback, no talk about my skills, nothing. It felt like he was just going through the motions. This company clearly doesn't value people's time.

  • Write an XPath locator using parent and child locators for a given HTML tag.
  • The interviewer insisted on the same locator question instead of providing a working example.

I applied for this job at DTCC via a referral, got a HackerRank test and passed it. Then, my face-to-face interview was set for Jan 20, 2025. The interview process had four stages: Resume Screening – they looked at my qualifications. Technical Round 1 – checked my technical skills and problem-solving. Technical Round 2 – a more in-depth technical check, including practical problems and system design talks. HR Interview – to see if I was a good fit and how I communicate. After finishing, they told me I got the job. I got my offer letter on Jan 30, 2025.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

The online interviews were fine and easy to follow, but the final round was the problem. They have a mandatory in-person interview, and one of the senior HR interviewers humiliated me by laughing in my face just for using my hands while answering difficult questions from the hiring manager. She acted very unprofessionally, laughing at me while I was answering tough questions from the hiring manager, saying I used my hands like her son explaining something. It was a rude comment and unprofessional behavior. I understand they test body language, but using hands isn't a reason to be laughed at or receive rude comments. This shows me a lot about the company. I reported this after getting the rejection letter.
