Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DTCC.
Credit Risk Analyst
I applied online and only had HireVue interviews. I had two HireVue interviews. Some questions were the same, others differed based on the position applied for. I waited a long time for the final result. Although I was referred, I didn't get a chance for a virtual interview with HR.
- Could you please state your major and degree?
Market Risk Analyst
There were 2 rounds of interviews. The first one was over Zoom with two interviewers. They asked me about my professional experience and the market. Most questions were about my experience, tasks, duties, and how market awareness impacted my role. They also asked market-related questions, like about interest rates, the yield curve, and hedging inflation with equities/fixed income. The second round was in person with two interviewers from upper management. They mostly asked about my previous roles, the firm, and the position. They also asked if I followed the market and who the current Fed chair is. Overall, it felt like a conversational interview with basic behavioral questions and some market questions.
- Who is currently leading the Federal Reserve?
- How do you prefer to learn? Are you a team player?
- Could you describe your past work experience?
Credit Risk Analyst
We started with a phone screening where they asked for basic info, salary expectations, when I could start, and my work eligibility. After that, there was a Hirevue. It's an online platform where you record answers to flash questions on the screen. They asked multiple behavioral questions and some related ones for the interview with the Associate Director.
- Can you introduce yourself?
