I applied for this job at DTCC via a referral, got a HackerRank test and passed it. Then, my face-to-face interview was set for Jan 20, 2025. The interview process had four stages: Resume Screening – they looked at my qualifications. Technical Round 1 – checked my technical skills and problem-solving. Technical Round 2 – a more in-depth technical check, including practical problems and system design talks. HR Interview – to see if I was a good fit and how I communicate. After finishing, they told me I got the job. I got my offer letter on Jan 30, 2025.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was really disrespectful. The first couple of rounds were fine. But then, in the third round, the interviewer canceled last minute, and then ghosted me the next time we were supposed to talk. For the fourth and last round, I had to go in person even though it was pouring rain. The interviewer was super rude and just started firing questions at me without even introducing themselves. I got a standard automated rejection email a week later. It feels like they didn't even intend to hire anyone after putting me through four interviews.

Behavioral Presentation

They sent me a link to an online video interview platform where I was instructed to record my answers on video to several questions. The questions were very poorly written to the point where I wasn't sure exactly what they were asking on a couple of them, and frankly should have been an embarrassment to the company. Also, why would they ask senior level candidates where they see themselves in 5 years? That's a question for people straight out of college/ early career.
