Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process started with an HR interview, which was pretty standard. After that, I had an interview with the hiring manager, and then a 'super day' with more than 5 interviews. This was followed by a presentation and a lunch with the hiring manager. The hiring manager seemed to be looking for reasons not to hire me, despite saying he was 'tough but fair'. The team members were great, but the mandatory Friday work-from-home and suit jacket requirement suggested otherwise. I also felt the hiring manager didn't respect the significant time and effort needed to prepare, especially for the 15-minute presentation. The recruiter mentioned a low base salary with a bonus that could be 2-3x the salary, but I suspect this is an unrealistic expectation and a potential trap. It's better to ask for past bonus pool multiples to verify such claims.

The interview process included three rounds. The first round was a 30-minute behavioral screen. The second round, also 30 minutes, focused more on my experience. The third round was a longer session: a 60-minute in-depth experience and technical interview, followed by a 30-minute "culture-carrier conversation".
